AdNovum joins the Trust Valley as a partner. Experts from our Lausanne location join the team responsible for the Tech4Trust startup acceleration program 2020.
AdNovum is pleased to become a partner of The Trust Valley, an initiative centered around digital trust and cybersecurity on the Swiss coast of Lake Geneva. Managed by the Innovation Park of the EPFL, it brings together companies and academic institutions from the region active in the sector. It was founded by the cantons of Vaud and Geneva. The need for digital tools people can trust and for solid cybersecurity is stronger than ever since digitalization is expected to accelerate because of the pandemic among other reasons.
A large number of digital trust and security experts are headquartered in the region. The initiative brings a lot of them together already. AdNovum and many other major technology companies are present. Moreover, the most prominent degree-granting and research institutions such as EPFL, the University of Lausanne, the University of Geneva, HEIG-VD, HES-SO, and the Graduate Institute are also among the founding members.
This partnership will allow AdNovum to strengthen its position in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, where it has been active for almost four years. It will also serve to further strengthen our ties with the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, in which a majority of the employees working for AdNovum in our Lausanne office obtained their degrees.
The first endeavor of the new organization will be to put together the second edition of Trust4Tech, a startup acceleration program which will start on October 8, 2020. AdNovum participates in this effort : Leo Bolshanin, Head of Cybersecurity Romandie at AdNovum, will put his extensive expertise in security and entrepreneurship to good use as a member of the Tech4Trust Advisory Board; and Jérôme Bailly, Sales Manager Romandie at AdNovum, will coach participants in business development lending his insights into the local market and his network. We’re looking forward to this and many more fruitful collaborations.
